Mavic 3 Pro Cine Drone from DJI. This flagship drone adds a third lens to the system, with a 70mm f/2.8 medium telephoto, enhancing your creative possibilities with more control of how much you capture of a subject and their surroundings. Remaining is the impressive 24mm Hasselblad wide-angle lens, with 5.1K resolution, and the 166mm telephoto, which has been upgraded to f/3.4 and 60 FPS for more light sensitivity and smoother video. This tri-camera system joins other Mavic 3 technologies, such as O3+ long-range transmission, up to 43 minutes of flight, and omnidirectional sensing with APAS 5.0 to make the Mavic 3 Pro Cine safe for even beginner pilots.
Triple-Lens Camera System
- 24mm Hasselblad Wide-Angle: The 20MP Hasselblad camera remains, with its adjustable f/2.8 to f/11 aperture and large 4/3 CMOS sensor for reduced noise in low-light situations. It offers 5.1K video resolution at 50 fps and incorporates the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) to capture and produce true-to-life colors in your media. When post-processing, you can use D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG.
- 70mm Medium Telephoto: The new camera in the tri-cam system, this 48MP lens offers an f/2.8 aperture and 1/1.3″ CMOS for excellent day and night shots. Video is captured in 4K at 60 fps, and you can get clearer midrange shots with a 3x optical zoom. D-Log M and HLG are supported for efficient post-production, and it’s capable of taking advantage of Night, ActiveTrack, and Hyperlapse shooting modes.
- 166mm Telephoto: This 12MP full telephoto lens returns, but with an updated aperture of f/3.4, letting more light in for better low-light performance using its 1/2″ CMOS. It also improves its 4K fps from 30 to 60 for smoother video and incorporates a 7x optical zoom for clear close-ups.
Safe Flying
An omnidirectional obstacle sensing system with APAS 5.0 technology actively detects obstacles during flight and will automatically plot safe routes around them during flight.

This drone is smooth and can move its 3 lens camera head all around. Taking video footage looks professional and its flying capabilities are diverse in range. This piece of equipment does the work for you, and makes it easy. It’s the best drone for 2023

I have 2 of these. These are awesome. I bought 1 first and was very impressed so I brought another for backup. This drone doesn’t disappoint.

We had been flying the Phantom 4 Pro for a long time and were fairly happy with the results. Went to rent this drone for an out of state project and absolutely fell in love. The additional cameras are helpful, but the ability to tilt the camera up is a game changer. This is one of the best flying experiences I’ve had and the package with the 1TB SSD included is incredible. If you’re flying for business, this is a perfect tool to help you get amazing results as a solo pilot!

I had the Mavic 3 standard and the 7x digital zoom was nice, but not really usable. The M3P cine 7x optical in ProRes is gorgeous! I’m addicted to those shots with the distance compression and slow movements. It’s nice to have the 1tb hard drive on board too. Almost a hour of ProRes 422 HQ in 5k 48fps. I’m happy the previous Mavic 3 batteries work in it too.
Love the RC Pro remote well. It is amazing in bright day light compared to previously using an iPad. The side view cameras are great as well when doing side ways moves and watching to see if objects are coming.
Overall, absolutely LOVE this upgrade

I’m flying my new drone on a project I have in Louisiana and loving it. When I received my drone, I took it out of the box and immediately the drone needed an update which took 90 minutes. You must have internet connection for the 90 minute update and registering the drone. I’m grateful to have the 1TB. I did find when I filmed in 4k ProRes my personal computer system made it choppy, but when I reformatted to1080P, then it worked great on my system. So now the question is should I get a new system which is another 5K to work with the amazing 5.1 Prores 422HQ footage. What I love most about this system is the controls, no longer using my phone, their large touch screen is amazing, it’s so much easier to fly. I’ve flown it 10 times in the first 2 weeks and all times it’s been great accept when I tried to fly it within 100 ft of a court house. I forgot being too close to government buildings will sometimes ground you. I have yet to test out the telephoto lens, pano, and many other features. But I did use active follow, which is incredible.
